The last hurricane made us think twice about the power of nature. Our house was damaged by strong winds and heavy rain and my parents took that opportunity to reinforce the house. The idea of saving up for the renovation of my mother’s kitchen came to me one stormy afternoon, while mindlessly surfing the net. I thought that it is a good idea since I am earning more than I need to survive myself every day, and since her 50^th birthday is just barely a year away. It has always been hot in my best friend’s house especially in the special “hut” outside their house where we usually had time to talk about anything and everything. But, when I came there a few weeks ago, a great deal of maintenance was done in the house. And when we talked in that same place where we used to talk about anything and everything, it was cooler and better. Wow!
