Pantry Organizer – A Way to Say Thank You

Saturday, August 14th, 2010

Could there be a better way to say thank you to a mother who have fed me delicious foods for more than a couple of decades, than renovating her kitchen into the kitchen she always dreamed to have?

The idea of saving up for the renovation of my mother’s kitchen came to me one stormy afternoon, while mindlessly surfing the net. I thought that it is a good idea since I am earning more than I need to survive myself every day, and since her 50th birthday is just barely a year away. The site I was able to find offers cute and elegant pantry organizers, which my mother will really appreciate, since she is fond of ‘storing for the winter’. The organizers I chose are perfect for the renaissance-inspired kitchen my mother wants to have.

If ever I will have some money left after the renovation project, I will also purchase of some closet organizer Raleigh for my room.  Though I do not have any concept on how I want my room to look like as of now, I know that the closets are flexible enough to fit any themes that may pop on my mind in the future. I must remember to write these down on my to-do list.

Outstanding Outdoor Cooling

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

It has always been hot in my best friend’s house especially in the special “hut” outside their house where we usually had time to talk about anything and everything. But, when I came there a few weeks ago, a great deal of maintenance was done in the house. And when we talked in that same place where we used to talk about anything and everything, it was cooler and better. Wow! The outdoor cooling was really great and then it was really cool even if it was really hot. I was really amazed about it. I never thought a system can do that very well in a very hot area, outdoors at that.

I prodded my friend to tell me how his family did it. I was more surprised with his answer. They did not do anything. It was a company that did the job. They just contacted this outdoor cooling system company online.  It was not even that expensive that his parents decided instantly. It was efficient and fast because their personnel were very professional in doing their jobs.

A Pest free Garden is a Safe Play Area

Monday, July 12th, 2010

We do have a small garden at home which I only tend to whenever I feel like it.  I admit that I do not have the patience to go out and tend to it every day.  With the pressures of work and the chores at home, there is hardly any time for me to do it.

But I do appreciate it because my kids love that place.  That is where they usually spend their afternoons playing and horsing around. I am planning to purchase a few small plastic playground sets so that they can have toys to play with when they are there.  However my concern has always been bug bites for there have been several times that my little girl comes running to me crying and scratching a bug bite.  My husband suggested that we contact a pest control Tampa company to eliminate those bugs that hurt the kids.

A friend of ours recommended their trusted pest control Tampa FL company which I immediately called up to set for an appointment.  My friend was right because they were professionals and they knew what they were doing being in the business for so long.  Now I do not have to worry every time the kids are outside playing because they have taken care of the bugs.

A long drive home

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

I always made it a point to drive home once a month to visit my parents.  My work prompted me to be in a different city which was about a 25 miles away from home.  Like any other parents, they understood the need for me to be away and hopefully to build a family of my own.

On their 50th wedding anniversary, I took some days’ off from work.  I knew how important the event was to the family.  My siblings were there to take care of all the preparations I never had to worry about that.  Everything went out so well.  The guests were all delighted.  I was more than amused.  It was a vacation for me as well.  Days went by so fast.  I was due to be back in town in a Sunday for a business meeting on Monday.

Probably due to travel, my car did not start that Sunday morning.  I tried turning it on and off but failed.  None in the house were mechanical savvy so my brother called for a transmission shop in Tampa Bay.  They did service on Sundays too which was really beneficial to everyone.  My car had problems with its AC too.  It was a good thing as well that the shop also was the best air condition repair Tampa Fl.  I was able to drive back to my place and was able to be on time for the meeting.  I never had a problem with my car since then too.

In need of Company

Friday, July 9th, 2010

Friends come and go and I had been feeling lonely for quite some time. To take my mind away from depressing things I decided to improve the quality of my house. I did this by getting myself some carpets that would give a different feel on the place. I chose the livelier colors to help me get over my loneliness. I got the carpets from the carpet company Florida, they had a wide selection of carpets and I enjoyed choosing my favorites.

I also bought window blinds that would really get the mood right. The window blinds Tampa FL store has all that I needed to complete my setup. I was busy installing them when a friend came over and saw what I was doing. He offered to help me and I gladly accepted his help. We finished the work faster and had more time for chit chat. We talked about what our friends had been doing for the past few months and I insisted that he visit me if he has nothing else to do. I really enjoyed his company and I hope that my friends would drop by so I can show them the changes that I made. I’m looking forward to our little reunion once again.

Professional Touch

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

After moving in our new house we decided to make it more attractive by installing storm doors with unique designs. My husband knew of a company that makes custom doors at affordable prices. Having an attractive door could surely make the house look inviting. We also plan on adding spiral staircases inside our house. A spiral staircase with unique designs improves the ambience of the house. We both agreed to let professionals handle all the necessary equipment and preparations. Years of experience could be helpful in meeting our expectations.

When the door was installed it really gave that sense of uniqueness. Our personalized door really looks good, not that I like to brag but still it was a good decision to add a customized design (like a trademark) for the more unique look. The staircase also looked wonderful! It was sophisticated and alluring. It has that charm that is very hard to explain. I’m sure that anyone that would come for a visit will love the unique designs and patterns that we chose. Professionals really lived up to their reputations, and I’m glad that we asked for their services, we didn’t make the wrong choice.

Perfect Touch

I am a perfectionist and I want everything to be just the way I like it. When a friend suggested that I hire a kitchen remodeling contractor. I am a little worried if they would be able to “meet my expectation”. Kitchen remodeling is something that I’m very cautious of doing.  After all, it is something that is permanent (mostly) and would be a hassle to have it redesigned again. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try.

After careful examination of my kitchen, the contractors designed some layouts that I could choose from. I suggested that they add a few things and they came back after a few days to start “remodeling” my kitchen. My fears were unfounded as I saw the progress of their work. When they were finished I inspected their work and I was impressed. Everything seems to fit into place and now I understood why my friend recommended their services. It was a smart choice on my part to heed her advice. I never knew that I would appreciate their work and wouldn’t criticize the final outcome. The work was masterfully done.

Looking for the Best

When it comes to quality, my Father won’t settle for anything less. He would be very meticulous about details and would ask a lot of questions in regards to different products. When it’s time to buy an AC for our home, he browsed the internet for some sites that gives information about top quality AC’s and cooling systems. He found this site about commercial air conditioning Tampa and browsed through its contents.  One weekend he asked us to accompany him to buy the AC for our home.

We went to home cooling Tampa Fl to purchase the AC that he had in mind. After purchasing it, he had it installed in our home and was rewarded by a kiss from my mom. My dad is so reliable and I’m happy that we have a new AC in our home. I never knew that having an AC could be so comfortable. Its cool and it smells nice, not to mention its perfect during the summer. I admire my dad and I hope that I could grow up to be just like him, very reliable and efficient in anything that he does.

Outdoor Party – Put out your Sunshade

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

My siblings and I planned out a party for our dad’s 50th birthday. We had the Invitations sent out to his co workers and friends whom he had not seen for a very long time. I also contacted a catering service to provide use the best dinner for my dad’s coming to the golden age. My brother on the other hand arranged the home in the most intimate setting, putting out some canopies for the guests. It would be a dinner party, but the canopies will have a good effect on the celebration. We had the tables and seats ready, putting the place cards as a final touch. The flowers made the atmosphere romantic, and we put out dads piano so that my sister could play and serenade everyone with the music.

Everyone came at dad’s birthday. Dad was smiling ear to ear when he saw his guests. He thanked everyone that night, and was amazed at how the place looked after our decoration. He especially liked the retractable awnings, and loved the effect on our house’s look. He was very thankful, especially seeing his friends that are from afar. I’m glad our birthday party for him was a success!

Living the Dream

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

I live in the big apple. It has always been my ultimate dream. Growing up from the Midwest is so much different from all the big lights and crowded streets. Back home was so laid back and quite that you almost don’t see any people at all on regular days. So, I thought one day I am going to get off here and find my way to the city of dreams, New York. Apart from that big dream as a child I always had the fascination on automatic hand dryers. Now that I am here living my dream I just have to complete my list with a touch free hand dryers.

I went online since here people don’t have that much time to go buy anything anywhere. For as long as you have your computer and internet you’re good to go. So I found this company that provides touch free restrooms not only to business industries but also homeowners. I thought hey I am a homeowner now and their waterless urinals are surely inviting. That’s when I grabbed the phone to contact them and take note it’s toll free. So that started my way to fulfilling my dreams and now I just feel so much contented in what I have and what I am.
